My name is Marnie. I live in San Francisco and run for the Impala Racing Team. By day, I work in health tech. In addition to running, I’m an avid lover of music and the mountains.
Inspired by Tracksmith, Tempo, and Citius Mag, I started West Coast Runner to capture and share the unique experience of sub-elite running on the Pacific Coast.
Every morning, my friends and I run through San Francisco. Every morning, we are immersed in natural beauty, physical pain, and camaraderie. I like to say that we’ve lived a full life each morning before posting up for our day jobs.
West Coast Runner is a photo journal dedicated to documenting the essence of the beautiful and bizarre lifestyle we live as we balance working full-time with chasing Olympic Trials qualifying standards, elite marathon entries, and the simple beauty of the West Coast.
